Superbowl Ads 2011 - Pug Attack -- Crash the Super Bowl 2011 Finalist

Superbowl Ads 2011 Dog

Superbowl Ads
This was the first of my favorite superbowl ads for the year. I love superbowl ads in general although there have been some dismal failures. The makers of chips and snacks products usually have some of the best superbowl ads every year. I love the superbowl ads that have a conflict between man and beast when the animals come out on top. Its even better when the man is teasing and mocking the animal and expects to see the animal hurt or humilated and then the man ends up being powned by a little dog. I guess all of us love superbowl ads that have a twist, where the initial action takes a turn that no one expects and we all laugh.

Superbowl Ads Cost and Value
Superbowl Ads spend a vast amount of money for a few seconds of exposure and it seems often that there is very little actual marketing for the product and more like some advertising marketing company is trying to win an award for their sport rather than using the superbowl ads to increase the purchase and consumption of the product. I think that chip makers want superbowl ads to cause people to eat more chips and not just to have a good laugh at a dog running through a glass door and landing on the guy who was laughing at the dog. I know there is no bad marketing, but it seems if you are spending millions of dollars for seconds that what you want is some serious return on your investment.
